"There are bunches of flowers..." - Ilse Helbich Project

After the musician Lisa Hofmaninger read through the entire literary work of Ilse Helbich who recently died, she began to make musical sketches focused on the works “Im gehen”, “Das Haus” and “Anderswohin”. Finally, after a year of constant discussion and contact, a complete compositional work for soloists and ensembles was created with the resounding title “There are bunches of flowers...”
It will be interesting to see how the young composer reacts to the texts of the renowned writer, who died at the age of 100. (Press release)

Lisa Hofmaninger & Helmut Jasbar:
you promised me poems

News of the song's demise seems greatly exaggerated from today's perspective. A re-enchantment.
Daniel Rab-Saij about you promised me poems
Music without borders - jazz, folk, chamber music, world and improvisation are mixed to an independent sound. With great joy of playing, passion and perfection, music is played in the style-free zone. This guarantees an evening with music between all chairs and away from all pigeonholes - but full of logical, communicative, intimate and sophisticated chamber music - musical entertainment on a very personal level and with plenty of space for quiet moments.

Trio Sicilienne
Maria Hauer (soprano), Lisa Hofmaninger (soprano saxophone, bass clarinet), and Anneliese Schneider (piano), aka Trio Sicilienne, perform beautiful crossover music, transferring folk music to improvisational music via a slight detour through classical music.
“Canzonetta di campagnuolo,” “Ritornello di lavandaja,” and “Canzonetta villereccia” are the names of the ancient southern Italian dances that are performed in new arrangements. These archetypal melodies exude a special southern European flavor, with Lisa Hofmaninger's raw bass clarinet complementing Maria Hauer's clear, unadorned soprano perfectly.

Duo hofmaninger/schwarz

The musicians are united by an intensive willingness to experiment with sounds and unconventional role allocation.
The saxophone, a well-known lead instrument for melodies turns to be used as a means of providing rhythm whereas the drums do no longer carry their usual function but interprete the song in smoothe waves of melodies. Suddenly the pure African singing of the log drum which, accompanied by the bass clarinet, merges into spheric improvisation.
The initial material for the musical harmony is made up of original compositions, impressions and stories, always in accordance with acoustics and atmosphere of the location. Diverse possibilities of the position of the band are tested and included in the overall performance. The core quality of the ensemble is certainly the determined love of experimenting with sound by challenging the certain functions of the instruments used.
This will inevitably put a spell on all the listeners.

sound collector

A national art collective searching new influences, exchanging ideas across national borders, opening up the sound and visualizing it.
Cultural dialogue through music is the essence of “SOUND COLLECTOR”.
